Project Domain / Category Web Application

Abstract / Introduction

In this project, we will create a website in which our system helps the common man to find a helper for their daily household or other chores. Our system will be designed in such a way that it will provide the house help details (like: name, gender, address, city, contact number etc.) along with their expertise, like if they are good at house cleaning, washing dishes, as a nanny of children or as a nurse etc. and then user will select the person of their choice according to their need and can get their chores done.

The website will allow the help service providers of different categories / expertise to register on the web to offer their services.

Functional Requirements:

We will have three panels in this website: Admin, Service Provider & User

1. Registration:

Service Provider & User will register first so that they can login to the system.

2. Login:

Admin, Service provider and user will login to the system (after registration) using id and password.

3. Add Service Provider details:

Service Provider will add all his/her personal details into the system i.e., Name, contact number, cnic, address etc.

4. Add expertise:

Service Provider will add all of his/her expertise like if they are good at dish Washing, house cleaning, nanny for children, or as a nurse for some elderly/disable person etc.

5. Approve/ Reject Service Provider:

Admin will approve or reject the certain service provider after checking their authenticity.

6. Add Category:

Admin will add separate categories w.r.t the expertise of different service providers. Like if we have service providers for dish washing, then when user wants to search for that particular service then all service providers whose expertise are in dish washing should be displayed.

7. Search information:

User will search about particular house help according to their needs

8. Select Helper:

After searching for different house helps, now User can select one which suits them the best according to the chores that needs to get done.

9. Payment Method:

User can pay online through our website and also by hand to the helper/Service provider.

10.Review:

User can also leave reviews on the website about the services of the particular helper/Service provider.

11.Marketing:

If user likes their services, they can also share their link directly from the website to their social media apps.
