Performance Analysis with OAI and NS3 Test phase, srs, design phase and source code final deliverable

Project Domain / Category
Networks / Network Simulation

Abstract / Introduction
OpenAirInterface(OAI) is an open source software program implementation for 5th generation cellular/cellular community. OAI can be run over commodity hardware and helps huge range of Linux distributions inclusive of ubuntu, centos etc. For 5G the OAI can be used to setup superior Node Bs and Evolved Packet Core. This assignment targets college students to get familiarized with the 5G and primary ideas to create check environment to measure popular performance parameters along with most conceivable throughput, latency, packet loss with distinctive mobility patterns and speeds.

Functional Requirements:
1. A Presentation on 5G and OAI
2. Setup suitable Linux environment with packing containers support
3. Install OAI stack and create 4 eNodeBs and one EPC
4. Create a fixed of mobile customers (at least eight) and a webserver
a. Connect Webserver with EPC
b. Mobile customers must partner with B
five. Setup Mobility Patterns using NS3
6. Create a easy connectivity situation as shown in the discern 1.

7. Measure Performance parameters (throughput, Latency, Jitter, Mobility)

Tools:
Linux , Ubuntu/Centos Docker Containers
