Abstract / Introduction

Most car synthetic in Pakistan do not have OBDII or ODBI port, which is used to diagnose the automobile or get the real time records like engine temperature , voltage , coolant temperature etc.

In this undertaking students might be required to access the car’s statistics like engine temperature, coolant temperature, in cabin temperature, out of doors temperature and many others, the usage of diverse sensors, Android smartphone and Arduino. Information accumulated using the sensors could be utilized. Note that scholars will no longer use ODBII port or device to get the records from car instead they will install their very own sensors. All the records amassed may be displayed the use of a small display in vehicle, and this facts can be sent to android mobile cellphone using Bluetooth or Wi-Fi.

Project will include of two elements hardware and software part. In hardware interfacing element scholar will write the code for arduino and setup the sensors, board and screen. For precise purposes students will use the particular sensor. For software element student will write an application for android phone. Scholar can be required to paintings on those parts simultaneously. You aren’t required to enforce it on a real car. You can simply use a version of a automobile with unique sensors.

Functional Requirements: For Application
1. A fully purposeful android application capable of speaking with arduino (Via
Bluetooth)
2. Application will show modern-day values related to automobile, Engine temperature, Coolant temperature, in cabin outside temperature and voltage.
3. Application will hold the each day log of these values.
Four. Reports on Engine temperature, Coolant temperature, in cabin out of doors temperature and voltage. User might be capable of view the reports on various dates.
For Hardware
1. Arduino board setup along side code to govern the door locks and lights.
2. Relay modules properly setup.
3. LCD to display present day status in car

Important Notes:

1. Students will buy his/her own hardware. Virtual university will no longer provide hardware or economic help to buy hardware.
2. Students will now not put in force it on a real car; rather they are able to use a model of car product of paper/difficult board and so on ,
three. C code might be used for arduino and Java for the mobile software.
