A services oriented website that offers community to find support worker for their elders, sick people, baby care, cooking, personal care, animal care, gym instructor and domestic assistance. Care seeker will post a job or search through online community of support workers. Support worker will register on this website so a person can find him/her according to desired needs. Support worker will charge hourly. Once a care seeker post a job, support worker will respond support worker through a messaging service. After finalization of terms, support worker will accept the job.
Functional Requirements
- Registration process for support workers o Support worker will provide complete Bio data o Picture of worker o Hourly rate o Experience o Two Reference
- Application have categories of workers (Baby Care, cooking etc…)
- Post job (For care seekers) o Required service
- Detail of required service o Address
- Estimated hourly budget o Time of service
Home page design must have header (menus for example, Post Job, Find Worker, Testimonials and about) and footer. Home page must publish the images of all services offered on upper part of body of the page. Home page center must have “Meet our care and support workers” heading, pictures and little information about workers.
Tools and Technology
Students are required to develop a website and student can use any web technology to develop the website.
Note: The students are required to develop above requirements according to the client’s desired functionality. If anything is unclear then student must ask to supervisor.
