Abstract/Introduction:
Home automation could be very rising and famous field. And for home automation IOT
devices are used frequently. Raspberry pi and Arduino are maximum popular out of all the
IOT gadgets currently getting used.
We will be working with Raspberry pi, Raspberry pi has many features like Small shape aspect, USB ports, LAN port, HDMI and lots of more however most beneficial characteristic is
forty pin GPIO port, builders can use these pins to without delay control any out of doors factor like a simple led.
We should develop a facial reputation system if you want to manipulate the lighting of various rooms inner a residence at the basics of man or woman’s face.
Functional Requirements:
• Add new people internal domestic.
• Train the gadget with already taken pictures or live view of a person the usage of the digicam attached with Raspberry Pi.
• Once educated the system have to be able to locate the individual inside 5-10 feet range.
• Every room could be related to one man or woman, so whenever a person enters the residence the system will apprehend the face of that character and turn on the light of that room.
• There can be some not unusual lighting as well for instance siting vicinity or kitchen which is used by all of the folks in a residence and those lighting fixtures will be turned on for all of the character.

Hardware: (Please observe that No Hardware could be supplied by using the college)
• Raspberry pi (Better use the cutting-edge version).
• Camera Raspberry Pi Camera Module V2 OR Rev 1.3 (You can also use any other digicam but compatibility problems will be more than legitimate digital camera).
• At least 4 led lighting fixtures to reveal working of the device.
• Wiring and connectors.
• Components like resistors, capacitors and transistors if required.
Important Notes:
• Prior Knowledge of Raspberry Pi micro controller may be very vital.
• Without Raspberry pi the venture will no longer be ordinary.
• You can use outside libraries to understand face however make sure you understand the float of library as questions can be requested from the library code.
