Abstract / Introduction

Writing has an important role in the daily life. There are news, commentaries, research articles and books source of knowledge and amusement. The authors often finds it difficult to get proof read their articles or books not in terms of grammar and spelling verification, but the article layout, fluidity, simplicity and correctness is also required to validated.

In this project students will develop a module/add-on for proof reading and paraphrasing in the word processor of their choice such as Microsoft Word, Libra Office, OpenOffice, Notepad++.

Functional Requirements:

  • A framework for inline spelling, grammar, style and paraphrasing.
  • Detection, selection, highlighting and suggestions mechanism.
  • Document structure validation, fluidity, clarity based on the text domain.
  • Networked operations
  • Ability to use external/open course grammar & style checking tools such as LanguageTools.
  • Installable module/add-one for selected word processor
  • Basic and advanced versions

Tools:

Languages: NodeJS, C#, Python or any other IDE : IDE of choice.

Operating System : Windows/Linux
