/ Introduction

With the abundance of information available to the managers, it is difficult for managers to make the best use of it. Manager needs information is organized and summarized form for their decision making and routine tasks. Manager’s dashboard is a very interesting idea that offers to provide summarized information in different formats such as tables, charts, graphs and picture format to help the managers view the business information and take the necessary decisions for the organization. The main purpose of this application is to provide the easy access for managers to take quick and effective decision making. All the information will be provided in a dashboard with visual tools which will help the managers take swift decision regarding different managerial matters. All the visual reports in this application will be automatic and managers will not have to create anything. Employees of the organization will put all the necessary data in this application which will be required to creating different visual reports. Administrator of the application will only be responsible for creating and managing the accounts and other administrative data of the software application.

This application will not only allow managers to perform their management decision making but will also allow them to view employee’s data in a summarized form at a single place.

Functional Requirements:

1. Administrator will be able to create accounts for managers and employees as per their designation and documents received from HR department.
2. Administrator will be responsible for adding organizational relevant data such as HR rules, Organizational structure, Leave records, attendance records etc.
3. Administrator will be responsible for creating progress reports based on the data entered by the employees.
4. Progress reports will be represented to managers in charts, tables, graphs or other visual forms.
5. Managers will be able to add data to his profile which is created by administrator.
6. Managers will be able to sign in to their accounts.
7. Managers will be able to check employee’s attendance and leave records.
8. Managers will be able to assign tasks to different departments and individual employees.
9. Managers will be able to check tasks assigned to different departments and individual employees.

10.Managers will be able to check progress reports of different departments and individual employees in visual form.

11.Managers will be able to set deadlines for different tasks.

12.Employees will be able to login to their accounts.

13.Employees will be able to check tasks assigned to them.

14.Employees will be able to check their leave information, attendance record and other HR details.

15.Employees will be able to add details about their daily targets, targets achieved and other task relevant information.

16.Employees will be able to check organization’s structure and rules.

17.Employees will be able to get notices and memos from their managers.
