  1. 1. Mention your roles and resp in the company
  2. 2. Discuss the Business Problem – make it persuasive
  3. 3. Link it to our individual department/units that are in your scope of influence or your immediate supervisor’s-Choose a problem that can have a structural cause (read chapter 3 page 127 of the book)Analyze the problem with consequences of the problem supported by data
  4. 4. Link it to the relevant C’s   – Organizational chart – current (put chart in appendices)
  5. Describe current organizational and unit structure using Daft
  6. b. identify the specific elements of the structure and the designations etc.

  1. 5. Literature Reviews:
  2. Read 8 to 10 literature reviews
  3. b. Critical reflection on the insights
  4. c. Use insights from the Daft Text and other suggested texts
  5. 6. Restructure Analysis:
  6. Specify why the C isn’t working (use Daft analysis)
  7. b. Describe the benefits of implementing the C and how the problem is resolved with the restructure(Read page 93 onwards of chapter 3)
  8. c. Describe the new structure and the changes in detail-Organizational chart –

current (put proposed chart in appendices) Monitor the change

  1. d. Who will be responsible for the implementation?
  2. Timeline of implementation, specific milestones and ways to track
  3. 7. Conclusions- summarize the project and discuss possible negative consequences
  4. 8. References and annotations
