Abstract / Introduction

The QuizApp Android app is an educational mobile application designed to enhance the learning experience in a classroom setting. The app enables teachers to create and administer quizzes to their students, providing a convenient and engaging way to assess their knowledge on various topics. The app allows teachers to create quizzes with questions and answers, assign them to specific classes or students, and set a due date for completion. Students can then log in to the app, take the quizzes, and receive automatic feedback and grades. The app includes features such as quiz creation and management, quiz taking, grading and feedback, progress tracking and reporting, user profiles and achievements, and notifications and reminders. The app also includes security and privacy features to protect student data. The QuizApp Android app is designed to be userfriendly and intuitive, with a clean and simple interface that promotes ease of use. The app aims to improve the learning experience of students and simplify the quiz administration process for teachers.

Functional Requirements:

• User registration and login: The app should allow teachers and students to create an account and log in using their credentials.
• Quiz creation and management: The app should have an interface for teachers to create quizzes with questions and answers and to assign quizzes to specific classes or students.
• Quiz taking: The app should have a quiz-taking interface for students, showing the questions and possible answers. Students should be able to move back and forth between questions and review their answers before submitting them.
• Grading and feedback: The app should automatically grade quizzes and provide feedback to the students on their performance. The teacher should be able to review and manually adjust grades if needed.
• Progress tracking and reporting: The app should allow teachers to track the progress of individual students or classes and generate reports on their performance.
• User profile and achievements: The app should have a user profile for both teachers and students, showing their achievements and progress in the quizzes they have taken.
• Notifications and reminders: The app should send notifications and reminders to students to take quizzes and provide updates on their progress.

Tools:

Students are permitted to use any development environment, subject to approval by their supervisor. However, it is required that data storage and retrieval be conducted via Google’s Cloud platform, specifically Firebase. In regards to computational resources, any expenses incurred by students will not be covered by the Virtual University of Pakistan; students are responsible for managing such expenses themselves.

NOTE : •        Before selecting the project, get complete knowledge of the project. •        Both applications should have an interactive and attractive user interfaces. •        In case of queries, discuss with the supervisor before selecting in order to avoid ambiguities.
