Abstract/Introduction

Food Donation System (BBS) is an application which maintain data of a food distribution center where the rich people may donate food items including cooked meal, fruit or grocery items and poor people may collect (get) the same free of cast. This system maintains data of the donor like his name, ID, address, contact number, number and type of foods donated etc., data of different food stores locating in the same geographical area including their names, capacity, number and type of foods it stores etc. and data of beneficiaries which are poor individuals or families including their name, date collect or obtained the food, volume of food etc.

Functional Requirements:

A set of functional requirements of the proposed system may include the following.

1. There must be login process for administrator and authorized users to avoid unauthorized access to the software.
2. The system must be able to store the data of both type of beneficiaries, i.e.

individuals and families.

3. The system would be able to store the records of food donors.
4. The system would be able to store the records of food stores.
5. The system would be able to store the records of beneficiaries.
6. The system would be able to print the report of donors.
7. The system would be able to print the report of beneficiaries.
8. The system would be able to print the report of stores as a whole or food type wise.

Note: Make sure that the above list is a sample of functional requirements, students do not need to be limited with these only. Students are supposed to think and implement some other functional requirements not mentioned in above list.
