Abstract / Introduction
Large towns are becoming increasingly more crowded and finding parking space in them is a huge trouble. The app “Parking Space” presents car proprietors or drivers with a list of parking slots for cars of various sizes to be had within the locations nearby their current vicinity. The owners/managers of a few parking area will register themselves with the app by means of presenting the list of parking slots (for specific car sizes) as well as the hourly price. Manager/owner of a parking area will mark every of its parking slot occupied or free. The car owner/motive force can view the listing of 10 free parking slots in its nearby places. The automobile owner/driver can e-book/reserve a parking slot that’s unfastened and will have to park its automobile in that parking slot inside 20 mins of booking it. Once a parking slot will become free, the owner/supervisor of the parking space will mark the parking slot free so that a few automobile proprietor/driver may also ebook it again.

Functional Requirements:

1. Parking area proprietor/supervisor will sign in its parking space with the app.
2. After registering the parking area, the proprietor/supervisor will enter the parking slots to be had inside the parking area. For each slot it’ll provide the subsequent records:
a. Vehicle length (duration, width and peak) appropriate for the parking slot
b. Hourly charge for the parking slot
Hint: A parking area has many parking slots and each parking area has a manager/proprietor chargeable for all of the parking slots in the parking space.
3. A car proprietor/driving force will register itself as a person in the app.
4. A registered consumer can view 10 parking slots (along side the hourly price for every slot) whose fame is “unfastened” (which are neither reserved/booked nor occupied via a person) for a particular vehicle size which might be nearest to its contemporary place.
Hint: The app will allow the user choose a automobile length. The app will then calculate the gap of all unfastened slots for that car size from the user’s current region. Finally, the app will display the 10 slots of that length which might be nearest to the person’s present day vicinity.
Five. A consumer can reserve/e-book a parking slot from the listing (as defined in requirement no. 4). The popularity of the parking slot can be modified from “free” to “reserved”.
6. When the vehicle proprietor/motive force parks its car inside the parking slot it had reserved in advance, the supervisor/proprietor of the parking space will change the reputation of the parking slot from “reserved” to “occupied”.
7. When the car owner/driving force leaves the parking slot wherein it had parked its vehicle, the proprietor/supervisor of the parking area will change the status of the slot from “occupied” to “loose”.
8. The proprietor/supervisor of the parking space has the option to exchange the repute of a booked parking slot from “reserved” to “loose” if the driver/automobile proprietor who booked the slot does now not park its car inside the slot inside 20 minutes of booking the slot.

Note: The capability of handling payments isn’t always needed.
