Abstract/Introduction

Now a days there are several issues in pick and drop of students at School, Colleges, and Universities. Due to rush hours and especially at schools off timing and on timing traffic Jam issues create many problems as students are getting late from school while going to school and arrive late at home while going back to home. So, an individual student on an individual ride like motorcycle, car and jeep creates a lot of problems, like traffic jams, fuel cost, and ride maintenance cost.

As you know, these days we are facing a big economic crisis, and we import fuel and pay in dollars which is itself a major burden on the economy. To overcome such issues a private transport service or school own pick and drop services for schools, colleges and universities can help us to save fuel and avoid traffic jams also. Estimated buses or private vans that are required for a school is nearly 10 to 15 area wise in which 5 to 8 busses and 5 to 7 vans or rikshaws which may be difficult for a school to manage.

To make this feasible a third-party service that helps the schools’ colleges or universities to manage pick and drop services area wise at a monthly affordable cost. For this purpose, services of transport companies or private van or rikshaw owners will acquire. To manage all that solution, we need to develop an Android app with the following functionalities.

Functional Requirements:

• Provide an interface to the transport companies to registered with the Application.
• Provide an interface to private van or rikshaw owner to registered with the Application.
• Should provide the basic routes from school, college, or university to the main road on which registered buses, van or rikshaw travels.
• App should provide an interface to register the schools, colleges, or universities for those that pick and drop service will be offered.
• The number of buses or private vans rikshaw recorded against a school, college, and university should be recorded and managed.
• Should have an interface to register a student under the school, college or university against which pick and drop service is required.
• Routes should be automatically defined, and bus, van or rickshaw allocated automatically if available for the mentioned student address.
• Pick and dop charges should be calculated based on distance of pick and drop school from source to destination that should be managed via app and that charges should be calculated on monthly basis.
• School, college or university can collect the charges of the pick and drop on monthly basis and submit charges to company through the interface that app should provide.

10-Should have an interface for daily attendance for each ride.

11-Payment records to each transport company or individual should also be managed through app.
